Forming Numbers

Any two digit number is formed by a combination two digits. For example 38 is a two digit number formed by the combination of 3 and 8, another number that can be formed by 3 and 8 is 83.

The two numbers 38 and 83 are different

38 = 3 tens and 8 ones

whereas

83 = 8 tens and 3 ones

Case I The two digits are different

When the two digits are different then the numbers formed will be different and the bigger number is formed when the bigger number is placed at tens place.

So in the case of two digits 3 and 8. We know that 8 is greater

So the number formed by placing 8 at tens place will be bigger

Bigger Number = 83

Smaller Number = 38

Case II The two digits are same

When the two digits are same then the numbers formed will be same.

For example if both the digits are 6 then the number formed is 66

Both Number = 66
